The Will to go line with two carabiners is an ideal option for training both with our waist belt and with other similar running equipment, and can also be used as a walking or hiking option.
The line is equipped with strong and reliable aircraft aluminum carabiners (ultralight, with bayonet lock (auto-locking), one such carabiner is capable of withstanding more than 400 kg of load), as well as an additional stainless steel half-ring to allow the handle-loop to be used when needed, as with a regular leash or in the Finnish line model (handle version). More details about use are shown in the diagram below.
Different colors are available for order, choose the required one in the product specifications before adding to cart.
Options for use/attachment of the line with a canicross belt:
-
by carabiner;
-
through the belt webbing to the half-ring (the line will be shorter this way);
-
use as a regular leash before or after training, for this you need to attach the carabiner to the half-ring on the webbing of the line;
This model of line is equipped with an additional handle-loop near the carabiner on the dog side, in case it is necessary to hold the animal close in emergency situations, or to use it as a standard short leash.
Lines with reflective elements are especially relevant for training in the dark time of day, as well as for running or walking within the city.
Made of high-quality tubular webbing 25 mm, which does not injure the hands, soft and pleasant to the touch.
The main feature of the line compared to a regular leash is the presence of a special shock-absorbing insert. Due to the built-in shock absorber, it protects the dog’s back and the human’s back from sudden jerks.
Produced in three sizes, in accordance with international rules for the use of equipment in races and dryland disciplines:
1.7 m (size S) at rest, 2.2 m extended for canicross, skijoring
2.2 m (size M) at rest, 2.7 m extended for wheeled disciplines
2.5 m (size L) at rest, 3 meters extended – this length is only for walking or dog trekking, for training a shorter line is required.
The line is a mandatory part of equipment in any sled dog sport discipline.
