DESIGN & FUNCTION
Unlike regular walking harnesses, this mushing harness is engineered to distribute pulling force correctly across the dog’s body without restricting breathing or movement.
• No pressure on shoulder joints, shoulder blades, or ribs
• Optimized strap positioning for efficient pulling work
• Designed specifically for sport, not casual leash walking
MATERIALS
• Strong yet soft outer material that does not rub or damage the coat
• Colorfast and hypoallergenic
• 3D mesh lining for airflow and light cushioning
• Quick-drying and highly durable
• Reflective paracord attachment (100% nylon), breaking strength 240 kg
AGE & USE
Suitable for medium and large dogs actively engaged in mushing sports or beginning structured training.
We do NOT produce mushing harnesses for puppies or dogs under 8–9 months of age.
This harness is not intended for everyday leash walking, as it may interfere with obedience training and handler focus work.
PERSONALIZATION OPTION
Custom embroidery is available:
• Dog’s name
• Phone number
• Name + phone number
To order:
• Add embroidery service to your cart
• Leave text and thread color in order notes
We provide examples of completed custom work and offer a wide range of thread colors.
SIZING IS CRITICAL
The harness must fit precisely.
Do NOT purchase for growth.
Required measurements:
AB – from chest bone to withers (measure one side only, not around the body).
The withers are located just after the neck between the shoulder blades.
AD – from withers to the base of the tail (not along the tail).
The dog must stand naturally during measurement:
• No sitting
• No turning the head
• No arching the back
Accurate measurement ensures safety, comfort, and performance.
IMPORTANT
A bungee line is mandatory for training. The built-in shock absorption protects both the dog’s and handler’s back from sudden jerks. A regular leash is not suitable for mushing training.
